FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SolidWorks Corporation partners with GlobalVision International, Inc. to simultaneously release SolidWorks 98® in six languages

Hudson, MA, May 1, 1998 - GlobalVision International, Inc. today announced that its partnership with SolidWorks Corporation allowed the release of SolidWorks 98 solid modeling software to be released in six languages simultaneously. In addition to English, SolidWorks 98 is fully localized in French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.

"Two key criteria to the success of the simultaneous release was the partnership and the process that we put in place between both of our companies", said Nabil Freij, president of GlobalVision International. "Our elaborate localization methodology, coupled with SolidWorks' intimate knowledge of the CAD industry, allowed us to leverage translation and terminology to shrink the project schedule from months to weeks."

"Many of our strategic customers are located overseas" said Vic Leventhal, Chief Operating Officer of SolidWorks. "Partnering with GlobalVision International, enabled us to release SolidWorks 98 in multiple languages worldwide simultaneously. The response from customers is outstanding!"
