FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GlobalVision International Offers Free Subscriptions To Its InfoMail
Quarterly informational e-mails helpful to Tech Pubs, GUI Developers and Localization Professionals

Berlin, MA, June 5, 2003 – GlobalVision International, Inc., a specialist in software localization and translation services, announced today the broadcast of its fifth quarterly InfoMail. Interested readers can subscribe on www.globalvis.com and receive the InfoMail by e-mail, once every three months.

InfoMails cover subjects relevant to technical communicators, Graphical User Interface (GUI) developers and other professionals involved in localization. InfoMails draw from real-life experiences, practices endured and lessons learned during the execution of a wide variety of recent localization projects.

In previous issues, topics included cost savings tips, a process for dealing with last-minute document change orders, and document single-sourcing practices and benefits. Future issues will present helpful tips on how to write and desktop-publish for localization, as well as discuss the latest localization methodologies and practices in the industry.

Feedback from current subscribers has been positive, and at times controversial. “The InfoMails have evoked a response from readers, and this is what we were hoping for”, said Nabil Freij, President of GlobalVision International, Inc. “As authors of the source text, Technical Publications writers and GUI developers have primary influence on the quality of the localized material. We feel that InfoMails are an excellent medium for our company to involve these authoring groups to benefit all end-users-- local and international.”

As a testament to the value of the InfoMails, the following reply recently arrived at GlobalVision: “We would like permission to provide a link from our newsletter to this wonderful InfoMail”, said Jackie Damrau, STC's Lone Star chapter, 1st VP and Contributing Newsletter Editor. Jackie then added, “As technical communicators, we are constantly asked about localizing materials and your InfoMail addressed the latest news that deserves dissemination to our members.”

To sign up for the company's InfoMail, visit www.globalvis.com and follow the directions provided in the home page. InfoMails will be sent once a quarter to subscribers. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time. GlobalVision neither shares nor uses its subscriber list for any other purposes. Comments on InfoMails are always welcome to Infonow@globalvis.com.
